The menthol and camphor also give it a cooling sensation on the skin. A plain CBD balm does not.

Which strength should you choose?
The 3000mg stick costs $0.023 per milligram of CBD against $0.036 for the 750mg. That is about a third cheaper. The 750mg is the one to try first if you have not used a CBD topical before.
Stick or tin?
The stick is cleaner and better for a gym bag. A tin such as the Canna River Body Balm holds more cannabinoids and covers a larger area. You apply it with your fingers or a spoon.
What does the menthol do?
It produces a cooling sensation on the skin. That is a physical effect of menthol itself, separate from the cannabinoids. It is why this balm feels different from a CBD-only topical.
