CBD Broad Spectrum Oil
8 productsBroad spectrum keeps the other hemp compounds and takes the THC out, so lab reports come back with none detectable. It sits between full spectrum, which keeps a trace of THC, and isolate, which is CBD on its own and nothing else.

What broad spectrum means
An extract starts as full spectrum: everything the plant produced, including the trace of THC. Broad spectrum is what you get when that THC is removed at the end of processing and the rest is left alone. The minor cannabinoids stay. The terpenes stay. Only the THC comes out.
That is the difference from isolate, which is the other THC-free option. Isolate strips the extract down to cannabidiol and nothing else. Broad spectrum is the middle road: no THC, but not a single molecule either.
How to choose
- Compare the CBD per serving rather than the number on the front of the bottle. A 20,000mg bottle is telling you about 120mL, not about a dropper.
- Decide whether you want a second cannabinoid. Several tinctures here pair CBD with CBG or CBN at a stated ratio.
- Check that the product page says broad spectrum, not the collection. Where spectrum is chosen as an option, the same product name can mean either one.
- Read the Certificate of Analysis for your batch, linked on every product page. "None detected" is a laboratory result, and that is where you see it.
What is in this collection
Canna River offers its tinctures in Broad Spectrum as an option on the product page rather than as a separate listing, from the Classic to the Pain and Ultra Sleep blends that add CBG or CBN. CBDistillery sells a broad spectrum CBD oil on its own. CBDfx adds broad spectrum tinctures that pair CBD with CBN for the evening or with CBG for the day.
Because spectrum is a variant rather than its own listing, it is worth a second look at the cart before you pay. The same product name covers both versions.
Frequently asked questions
What is broad spectrum CBD oil?
A hemp extract that keeps the plant's other compounds, including minor cannabinoids and terpenes, with the THC removed during processing. Laboratory reports on it come back as none detected for THC.
Does broad spectrum CBD contain THC?
Not at a detectable level. "None detected" means below the laboratory's limit of detection rather than mathematically zero. The Certificate of Analysis on each product page shows the result for the batch in your bottle.
Will broad spectrum CBD pass a drug test?
No seller can promise a test result. Thresholds vary between employers and laboratories. What you can control is the product: broad spectrum and isolate are the two categories tested as having no detectable THC.
Is broad spectrum weaker than full spectrum?
Not in CBD. A broad spectrum tincture can carry exactly as many milligrams per serving as a full spectrum one. What changes is what else is in the bottle.
What is the difference between broad spectrum and isolate?
Isolate is cannabidiol alone, with every other compound removed. Broad spectrum keeps the minor cannabinoids and terpenes and removes only the THC. Neither has detectable THC.
