How to choose a CBN product

  • Read the CBN figure per serving, not the number on the front of the bottle. A jar that says 1,500mg is telling you about the whole container, and often about the CBD rather than the CBN.
  • Compare the ratio. A formula with 50mg of CBD and 50mg of CBN is a different product from one with 25mg of CBD and 2mg of CBN, even though both list CBN on the label.
  • Decide whether you want melatonin in it. Some evening formulas add 3mg or 5mg; others are built on cannabinoids alone and say so.
  • Pick the format for timing. A tincture held under the tongue is absorbed sooner than a gummy or a capsule, which pass through digestion first.
  • Check the spectrum if you are drug tested. Broad spectrum and isolate have no detectable THC; full spectrum keeps a trace.

What is CBN?
