Canna River - CBD Body Balm
Canna River CBD Body Balm is a 2oz tin holding 5,000mg of cannabinoids: 1,250mg each of CBD, CBC, CBG and CBN. It comes in four botanical formulas, Chamomile, Lavender, Cooling and Warming, with an applicator spoon in the tin.
Why we carry this one
Four cannabinoids in equal amounts is rare. Most topicals are CBD with a token amount of something else. This one splits 5,000mg into four even parts, and CBC almost never appears in a balm.
The four formulas matter more than they sound. Warming and Cooling change the sensation on skin, so the choice is about feel, not just scent.
What is in the tin?
- CBD: 1,250mg
- CBC: 1,250mg
- CBG: 1,250mg
- CBN: 1,250mg
- Total cannabinoids: 5,000mg per 2oz tin
Botanical base: shea butter, coconut oil, beeswax, arnica, sunflower oil, willow bark extract, bisabolol and essential oils. Broad Spectrum, so no detectable THC.
How do you use it?
Use the spoon to lift a small amount and massage it into the skin where you want it. Apply as often as you like through the day.

What is CBC?
CBC, or cannabichromene, is a minor cannabinoid. It appears far less often in finished products than CBD, CBN or CBG, largely because it is harder to source at scale.
Questions about this balm
Which of the four formulas should you pick?
The cannabinoids are identical in all four. Cooling adds menthol, peppermint, camphor, eucalyptus and wintergreen. Warming adds cinnamon, clove, ginger, black pepper and capsicum. Chamomile and Lavender bring no temperature sensation.
Why compare price per total cannabinoids instead of per CBD?
Only a quarter of the active content here is CBD. Judged on CBD alone the balm looks expensive at $0.036 per milligram. Counting all four cannabinoids it works out at $0.009. That is the fairer comparison.
Will a topical show on a drug test?
This balm is Broad Spectrum with no detectable THC. Topicals are also not designed to enter the bloodstream. If you are subject to testing, check the batch Certificate of Analysis for your tin.
