How We Research and Write Our CBD Guides
CBDestiny is a family-run online store that sells hemp-derived CBD products from US brands. Our guides explain those products in plain English. This page describes who writes them, how we check each fact, and what we will never claim.
Who writes the CBDestiny guides?
Every guide carries the name of the person responsible for it, with a short bio at the end of the article. That person picks the topic, checks the facts and approves the final text. We never publish a guide under the name of a tool or an anonymous account.
How do we check the facts?
We check every number against a primary source before it goes live.
- Product figures come from the label and from the batch Certificate of Analysis (COA). Many labels print total cannabinoids in large type, so we use the per-serving breakdown instead.
- Research is linked to the original study on PubMed, a journal site or a .gov page. We cite what the study found, not what a headline said about it.
- Laws and rules are checked against the Congressional Research Service, the FDA or state agencies, and dated. Hemp rules are changing, so we say when a rule starts.
Each guide ends with a numbered list of its sources.
Do we use AI to write the guides?
Yes, as a tool. We use AI writing assistants to help research, outline and draft some guides. A person on our team then checks every claim, milligram figure and source against the original, edits the text and approves it. AI is never listed as an author.
What will we never claim?
We do not say that CBD treats, cures or prevents any disease or condition. The FDA has not approved hemp-derived CBD products for that, and our guides are not medical or veterinary advice. When a topic touches health, medication or pets, we tell you to talk to your doctor or veterinarian first.
How do we choose the products we mention?
We mention products we carry, by brand and exact name, with their real milligram figures and a link to their lab report. We earn money when you buy from our store. That is why we show the numbers and the COA, so you can check them yourself. We do not carry synthetic cannabinoids such as delta-8 THC or HHC.
How often are the guides updated?
We review each guide at least every 90 days, and sooner when a law, a study or a product changes. The date shown at the top of each guide is the date it was published.
How can you report a mistake?
If you find an error, contact us and tell us which guide and which sentence. We check it against the source and correct the guide if we got it wrong.
